The DVC Sideline Cheer program is run 100% by parent volunteers. We cannot be successful without the support and involvement of our parents. Ways you can help:

• Head Coach or Assistant Coach – you do not need to have prior cheerleading experience to be a coach. We will assist you with learning cheers and motions, and there will be an orientation clinic in August to teach all of our cheers to you and your squad. Head coaches will have their child’s registration fee waived.  Assistant Coaches will receive a fifty percent discount on their child’s registration fee. If you are interested in becoming a coach, please indicate so on the registration form and you will be contacted by DVC. 

• Team Parent – coordinate a snack schedule for games, coordinate homecoming activities, and assist coaches with any needs.

• Team Photographer – assist with photographing cheerleaders, collecting and sharing photos with the squad throughout the season, and coordinating with DVC and The Naperville Saints social media teams.

• Assistant Coach (High School Students) - DVC will partner with the local High School Cheer Programs (Benet, Matea, Naperville Central, Naperville North, Neuqua, St. Francis and Waubonsie) and are looking for current high school cheerleaders interested in coaching opportunities, choreography and leadership positions.
